How To Register A Vehicle For Collin County

The County Revenue enhancement Assessor-Collector is designated by statute as the amanuensis for the state Department of Motor Vehicles and the State Comptroller for collection of motor vehicle fees. Under the registration statutes, every owner of a motor vehicle and taxes is required to annals it with the taxation assessor in the county in which the owner resides.

Ways to renew your vehicle registration:

You may annals in person at either the Tax Assessor Office locations listed below or any participating grocery store and other subcontractor locations.

  • Vehicle registration renewal.
  • Vehicle titling.
  • Renewal of permanent disabled parking placards.
  • 30-day temporary permits.
Unpaid Tolls

Practise you have unpaid tolls? Effective Sept. i, 2017, all Collin Canton Offices volition be honoring the NTTA Scofflaw Registration Blocks. A Registered Motor Vehicle with 100 or more delinquent tolls volition be unable to renew registration. Y'all volition need to provide a Vehicle Registration Release Class from the North Texas Tollway Authority in lodge to obtain your Motor Vehicle Registration Sticker.
